Katleen Richardson – President

Katleen Richardson is an experienced leader who builds integrated strategies combining research, data analysis and creative thinking. She has delivered successful solutions for the publishing, financial and telecommunications industries, as well as for conference and training companies, and professional associations. Her approach is to design customer focused, cost-effective solutions based on cross functional collaboration and results-based metrics.
Katleen founded Marketing AdvantEdge to allow organizations to benefit from her decade-plus experience in direct marketing, online marketing, social media, branding, sales support and product launches.
Before founding Marketing AdvantEdge, Katleen Richardson held various senior leadership positions at the Association for Certified Anti-Moneylaundering Specialists, Alert Global Media, Communispond, Omega Performance and the Institute for International Research (IIR) in Europe. She was instrumental in a number of global software implementations for Informa plc, an international publishing, training and conference company.
Katleen is originally from Belgium, speaks 4 languages, and has worked in nine different countries on four different continents. She holds a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics from the Catholic University in Brussels.

Shawn Sprockett – Art Director

Shawn Sprockett is an award winning graphical designer and multimedia developer. He has participated in projects for non-profits, magazines, galleries, museums and political campaigns. Shawn approaches design by combining creativity and serious work ethic.
He has won numerous awards during his career, including the 2011 Gold Award of Excellence for film and the 2011 Silver Award of Distinction for animation by the International Academy of Visual Arts. He has also earned the FIU Honors College Robe of Excellence for Creative Writing and Film.
Shawn has a BA in International Relations, Film Studies and Art from FIU in Miami. He spent a year at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic studying film at Barrandov Studios and the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. He is currently performing graduate work at the prestigious New York School of Visual Arts, where he is pursuing his MFA in Design & Entrepreneurship.
DL Karl – Editor in Chief
DL has developed and delivered customer service management training for Fortune 500 companies in the industries of healthcare, hospitality, government, financial services, retail, insurance, and automotive. As “Pathfinder” (Curriculum Director), she helped lead the path of putting “FISH! In a box” for Charthouse Learning, home of the original FISH! Philosophy.
In the corporate world, DL had more than 19 years of training experience and 7 years of leadership experience, including directing corporate training divisions, managing curriculum design and production, technical training and documentation, instructional design, and consulting.
At Achieve Global, as Vice President of Product Development for four years, DL provided strategic direction and leadership to a multifunctional team that researched, designed, developed, and delivered, and produced profitable training products and change management solutions. She was responsible for overall thought leadership for the Customer Service, Leadership Development, and Sales Performance training portfolios.
Prior to coming to AchieveGlobal, DL was Director of Disney Institute Programming, offering training and education programs for executives in customer loyalty, creativity and innovation, and leadership. She was also Manager of Disney University, responsible for identifying and implementing learning strategies for an employee base of 52,000.
DL has given presentations on leadership to Disney audiences on quality for the American Society of Quality Control and the Association for Manufacturing, and has participated on panel discussions for the Society of Technical Communications in addition to teaching business and creative writing skills to high schools and colleges. She is an author of fiction, journal articles, book reviews, and a contributing writer to a book on customer service.
DL earned a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing and a Master’s in English from Florida state universities. She also completed executive education in Instructional Design at University of Michigan School of Business, Leading Innovation at Stanford, and Product Management at Kellogg. She has been a member of American Society of Training and Development and Society of Technical Communications.

A New York City-based PR specialist with top agency and editorial experience and a strong placement record, Alexandra has developed and implemented publicity campaigns for client products and services in a wide swath of consumer and business-to-business arenas. These include new food products, documentary films, a major publication for senior finance managers, a political candidate for statewide office, a Manhattan hotel, and one of the oldest and best-known nonprofit business membership and research organizations for senior executives in the world.
