I spent a good two hours last week opting out from stuff. Emails about yarn because my mom once ordered some yarn when staying at my place. Insurance company emails. Real Estate Broker emails (about how to clean my floors). Sublease in Miami availability emails. The list goes on. The reason I started opting out for all this stuff is because I am just getting too much email. And most of those I didn’t actually agree to, at least not literally. I once subscribed to a service, bought something somewhere, or inquired about a property. Not only is it 5+ years ago – I did not actually say I wanted to get their updates/newsletters/tips and tricks.
